We are seeking an Occupational Therapy Hand and Upper Extremity Fellow (OT) to:
* Attend and participate in didactic education designed to advance clinical reasoning and pattern recognition in the hand and upper extremity.
* Challenge your own clinical decision making through constructive feedback in didactic units, case presentations and scholarly inquiry.
* Form alliances with patients and their families with the common goal of optimizing function following acute injuries, cumulative and non-traumatic injuries, and surgical procedures related to hand and upper extremity impairments.
* Expand knowledge and interventional skills in lymphedema.
* Collaborate on a weekly basis with advanced practitioners and board certified, fellowship trained orthopedic and plastic surgeons.
* Treat a variety of pre- and post-operative upper extremity conditions while being mentored by staff.
* Collaborate with other providers in coordinating patient and family care across multiple services.
