We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Diamond Fabrication Intern to join our Diamond Fabrication team for Summer 2026.
In this role, you will gain hands-on experience in production, operations, and engineering to make new products, improve current products, and/or processes while working alongside industry professionals and contributing to meaningful projects that support our team and company objectives.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
* Strong hands-on mechanical aptitude to build and assemble equipment, as well as performing process testing with fabrication equipment
* Use of characterization equipment and analysis to baseline tools
* Assist with data collection and development in the production environment
* Work on assigned R&D projects
* Assist engineering staff with daily projects and duties
* Learn Diamond Fabrication machine operation and provide support where necessary
* Support department 5S initiatives
* Present on projects while speaking about any research or ideas to make improvements
Education & Experience
* Education Level Required: Bachelor's / Master's / PhD
+ Completed a minimum of 2 years of bachelor's degree by start of internship

Our Retail Centers are open 9 to 9 Mondays through Saturdays and 9 to 8 Sundays.

JOB SUMMARY:
The Retail Production Associate I will primarily work in a production environment processing and sorting donated items following company quality standards and guidelines to determine which items will be placed on the sales floor to be sold.
This process includes pricing and testing guidelines as required.
The Associate is responsible for ensuring the sales floor area is well stocked with product in an organized and presentable fashion.
The Associate may occasionally be in contact with customers and expected to be responsive in communication and provide excellent customer service.
The Associate may be assigned to various areas that they have been trained in to include hardlines, softlines, housewares, electronics, mechanical goods, books, or shoes per the business needs.
This position may occasionally work in donations.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
* Meets or exceeds minimum productivity standards and expectations/Key Performance Indicator (KPI)s for assigned duties.
* Sort donated items by type (books, media, textiles, housewares etc.) which include season, color, and quality of product.
* Hang, size, and price, tag, and prepare items to be sold on the sales floor.
* Inspect and quick test items as needed that plug-in or run on batteries to ensure the product is in good workable condition.
* Make decisions to price according to Goodwill standards of quality and value of product (Good, Better, Best), which may include researching the item’s value on the internet or utilizing other company tools and standards.
* Ensure production and sales floor areas are well organized, stocked, properly merchandised, and clean.
* Provide excellent customer service to fellow staff and customers; answer product questions as needed.
* Rotate or pull old or unsold product in a timely manner from the sales floor to ensure product selection is refreshed as necessary.
* May have additional responsibility of processing E-Commerce product (sort, hang, size, price, tag, etc.).
