Job Summary:
An Operations Supervisor produces maximum profit while providing excellent service to the customer.
This individual oversees and is directly involved in more than one of the following operations: Dock, P&D, and Road, including, but not limited to, customer service, productivity, quality freight handling, claims prevention, load average and safety.
Job Responsibilities:
* Manages, plans, organizes, and directs all employees assigned to them.
* Manages and implements security and loss prevention procedures.
* Prepares and manages safety procedures in accordance with Company, OSHA, and DOT guidelines.
* Prepares and implements action plans to ensure the service center achieves planned productivity, load average, cube utilization, and service targets.

You arrive a few minutes before your center opens to make sure everything is ready and check there’s nothing the cleaners have missed.

o Review and approve all work orders for timeliness and accuracy establishing a fair value for time entries to be billed to the customer.
o Update work orders with an appropriate segment, job and component code, and adequate maintenance notes to support necessary repairs.
o Ensure that all Warranty W/O's are closed within 5 days of the last date of labor.
• Review, investigate, and approve all time collection discrepancies for Shop personnel.
• Review monthly the No Activity Work-in-Process report to maintain a minimum of 90% of all Shop work orders within a 10-day window.
• Coordinate the quoting process for all Shop related requests.
Prepare, review and approve all quotes to insure professionalism and timeliness.

The newly created Student Enrollment Services Center at Stevens Institute of Technology represents integrated and coordinated cross-functional service in the areas of financial aid, student accounts, and registration.
This new one-stop office will act as a “single point of service” across these areas to promote a progressive, simplified, and consistent student experience and a culture that supports student satisfaction and success.

The Director will report to the Senior Director for Student Enrollment Services within the Division of Enrollment Management.

The PSEG Undergraduate Research Scholars for Environmental Justice is a 10-week paid summer research program that provides undergraduate students the opportunity to engage in interdisciplinary research focused on sustainability and environmental justice.
The program supports undergraduate students, beginning as early as their sophomore year, to work closely with faculty mentors at Stevens Institute of Technology.
