Summary - basic function of the role
The primary function of this position is the manufacture of product utilizing equipment in the cell.
Major responsibilities of this position include setup of equipment, operation of equipment and operating multiple pieces of equipment in cycle.
The products are usually standardized as to design and function, and methods applied are generally prescribed or standardized.
This includes the coordination of resources required to complete the tasks identified.
Other specific items may include, but not be limited to, assisting with operation of equipment in other cells as needed and to positively influence the Lean efforts throughout the organization.
Shift: Monday-Thursday ; 2nd shift 2:00 PM-12:00 PM or 3rd shift 8:00 PM-6:00 AM
Job Duties and Responsibilities
* Ability to efficiently setup and operate all equipment in the cell.
* Operates or performs set-ups for other processes in the cell during controlled manufacturing cycles.
* Ability to interpret process sheets, prints and sketches of a part to determine manufacturing processes, dimensional specifications, set-up, and operating requirements.
* Recognizes defective parts and takes necessary steps in order to correct the print, process or program.
* Inspects workmanship of current and succeeding processes for any deviations from the print, process, or program and notifies proper personnel to assist in correcting the problem.

The Prototyping Manufacturing and Integration Division (PMID) of Applied Research Associates (ARA), Inc., has an exciting opportunity for a full-time skilled Open-Source Analyst who will conduct data-driven strategies to shape the future of our business facing products across measurement and optimization. This position is a full-time position located on-site with our customer in Huntsville, Alabama. The Open-Source Analyst will utilize their data science and analytical skills, to help identify and solve the customer’s biggest challenges.

This content includes Commercially Available Information (CAI), Publicly Available Information (PAI), Commercial Telemetry Data (CTD) and Advertising Technology (AdTech). Open-Source Analyst will analyze and process large collection-related datasets according to organizational priorities.
You’ll work closely with DoW and warfighters to understand their questions and requirements and then dig into the publicly available data-rich environment to find the pieces of their information puzzle.
The successful candidate will be familiar with analytical research, ubiquitous technical surveillance ( UTS), and the Advertising Technology (AdTech) environment.
Explore new data sources, create effective queries, and combine information from diverse sources to support the mission.
You’ll need the ability to think quickly, adapt to various environments, work, and communicate effectively with various teams, management, external/internal customers.
This position will require passing a national background check.
Must have Active SECRET clearance and be able to obtain a Top-Secret from the US Department of War.
Base Pay Ranges: From $95,000 - $105,000 annually; it is based on years of experience as a specialized and knowledge that you may bring to the position.
Open-Source Analyst Must Haves:
* Must have an Active DoD Secret Clearance with ability to upgrade to TS
* Bachelor’s degree in Intelligence Studies, Information Analysis, Computer Science or related technical field and 2+ years relevant work experience, OR Degree waived with 8+ years’ experience in Intelligence or Information Analysis, Data Science, Data Mining, Analytical Research, or equivalent
* Hands on experience in Data Science, Data Mining, Intelligence or Information Analysis, Analytical Research, or Ubiquitous Technical Surveillance (UTS)
* Experience with link/nodal analysis, including developing collection plans and risk assessments
* Background and knowledge in supporting DoW Service Components, preferably US Army
* In-depth experience of internet-based research, advanced search algorithms, including Boolean logic, and search engines
