As an Ocean Gateway Agent you will be responsible for the movement of our customer’s ocean shipments.
You will be the main point of contact for coordination between customer’s shipments, customs brokers, and shipping carriers.
Key Responsibilities:
* Creates/confirms transport order to ensure delivery of the shipment to the final customer
* Performs booking and booking optimization
* Prepares, controls and distributes all required Import/export documents to counterparts (carrier, consignee, supplier, etc.) and then checks responses from counterparts and finalizes validation of required documents
* Follows-up on shipment status in the Import/Export area; identifies incidents and ensures resolution of incidents
* Supports Customer Service in the incident and exception management resolution
* Maintains excellent relationships with suppliers
* Responsible for identifying performance issues of suppliers, and proposes solutions to improve/correct performance
* Performs IT systems related tasks to provide up to date information on shipment
Skills / Requirements:
* 2 years of experience in freight forwarding industry, Ocean Export experience preferred
* Strong Understanding of Ocean Export regulations and documents.
* Cargowise system experience preferred
* Need to be able to work, communicate, and resolve problems that arise in the movement of product into/out of the US
* Attention to detail and excellent oral and written skills required, customer service experience preferred
* Proficient in Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, and Excel

The IT Systems Analyst is responsible for maintaining the operational integrity of assigned applications/platforms. You will work closely with a team of Business Systems Analysts and Developers to make processes more efficient and employees more productive.

This position is responsible for inspecting and sorting all donated textiles and hard goods. Makes price tickets and prepares merchandise for resale in the store. Discard items determined to be not sellable. Performs quality inspections and attaches proper price ticket. Maintain a neat and organized work area.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Accepts various donations from donors, provides donation tax receipts and records number of donors.

Identifies good quality merchandise and prices accordingly.
Separates and stages seasonal items for future use (i.e.

Prints price tickets and attaches to items in need of tickets. Calculates 50% of retail price on some items, uses standard list for all other items.

Hangs textiles on sales floor based on priority, as determined by the store management.
