We are adding an Applications Engineer focused on Electric Actuation and Controls in our Houston, TX location.

As a member of the Applications Engineering team you will provide technical support for all aspects of our Electric Actuator product line by performing the following duties.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:


* Provide internal and external customers with technical support and solutions related to product applications, electric actuator sizing/selection and materials of construction.


* Work closely with the applications engineering team and product management to cross-train and develop our products, team members and customers.


* Regarded as an applications consultant and electrical actuator authority by both external and internal customers.


* Provide technical information relating to product performance parameters to both internal and external customers.


* Interfaces with others in the organization and customers to jointly determine customer needs and solutions.


* Review customer specifications for quotations and orders as necessary.


* Manage and supply technical data sheets, wiring diagrams, submittals, schematics and other related product information.


* Maintain good understanding on industry and customer standards and have a consistent review on changes within the applicable standards.


* Provide support to modification facilities to ensure product is fabricated and assembled based on the intended functionality of the design.
