SRC, Inc.
is currently seeking a Senior Accounts Payable Specialist who is detail-oriented, organized, and has excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
This role is primarily for our Accounts Payable department but will include assisting Billing with preparing monthly invoices and various general ledger account reconciliations.
Prospective candidates must be able to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-moving environment, be self-motivated, and capable of working in a team environment.
What You'll Do
* Receive, review, and process invoices from vendors, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company policies and procedures
* Prepare and process payments to vendors, including checks, ACH transfers, and wire transfers
* Communicate with vendors regarding invoice inquiries, discrepancies, and payment status
* Resolve issues and discrepancies promptly to maintain positive vendor relationships
* Assist in processing employee expense reports and travel advances from DataBasics Expense Reporting software and ensuring compliance with company expense policies
* Process multiple company credit card expenses monthly
* Process 1099s
* Assist Billing with monthly invoices
* General Ledger account reconciliations for open A/P, travel, company credit cards, and others as needed
* Maintain organized records of invoices, payments, and related documentation.
Ensure all documents are filed accurately and in compliance with record retention policies
* Take on additional responsibilities as needed
What You'll Bring
* Education: Associate's degree in Accounting, business or related field with 3+ years of Accounts Payable experience.
* Any equivalent combination of education, training and experience can be used in lieu of noted degree and experience.
* Experience processing 2-way and 3-way Purchase Order invoices
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including using Pivot tables and Vlookup in excel; CostPoint & DataBasics experience a plus
