Job Summary
The ideal candidate in this role will perform a wide range of duties in an industrial indoor and outdoor manufacturing environment.
This individual will be part of a team working in the rebar shop to build cages safely, accurately, and efficiently
Job Responsibilities
* Build rebar cages according to drawings provided - t ools supplied by the company
* Read and follow blueprints, sketches, and other instructions
* Unload and stack prefabricated steel so that it can be lifted with slings
* Assist or perform crane operations for storing reinforcing steel
* Experience using rebar fabrication machinery a plus, but not required
* Warehouse environment, all work is performed indoors (no travel required)
* Other responsibilities may be assigned on a temporary or permanent basis as needed
Job Requirements
* High school diploma or equivalent
* At least 1 year of related experience preferred
* Ability to read and interpret blueprints preferred
* Ability to read/write simple instructions and communicate effectively with team members
* Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.

Job Responsibilities
* Assisting machine operators
* Maintenance, yard work, warehouse, production, utilities, and material handling
* Clean-up machinery and conveyors, maintain the surrounding area and keep equipment free from debris during downtime
* Clean floors and pick up reusable scrap for salvage, transport trash and debris away from production areas
* Responsible for keeping pallets neat and orderly
* Assist lead operator in preparing for shift production, work closely with the lead operator and become knowledgeable of the mechanics and operation of the machines
* May be required to work with conveyors, ramps, elevators, etc.

* Operate machinery or equipment as trained and instructed following safety guidelines at all times
* May be required to operate equipment such as hoppers, bagging and sealer machines, forklift, palletizers, hydraulic equipment, powered tractors or vehicles, among others
* Operate a variety of hand tools
* Assist in the loading/unloading of trucks
* Assist in completing shipping/receiving documents, verify loads leaving the premises
* Package and label products properly
* Maintain, verify, and count product inventory
Job Requirements
* Requires pre-employment drug screening/background test
* High school diploma/equivalent, or a comparable combination of education, training, and experience
* Ability to follow company safety procedures and attend weekly safety meetings
* Must be able to demonstrate lock out tag out procedures and keep key lock at all times
* Must have the ability to lift and/or move up to 100 lbs.
