The Utility OCT is responsible for safely handling the departments logistics and operating chemical inventories, primarily responsible for loading and unloading trucks and rail cars supporting the utilities areas with some additional responsibilities in the pulp mill and water plant areas.
This position starts at $25.88 per hour and typically works a Monday - Friday day shift.

What You Will Do In Your Role
* Coordinate with the scale house on incoming chemicals and freight for loading and unloading
* Managing chemical operation inventories
* Monitoring the safety and performance of external trucks and rail drivers for safety performance, adherence to procedure, and process interfacing.
* Communicating with the department operators, crew leader, and others about chemical issues, loading and unloading activities, inventories.
* Learning and interfacing with tall oil operations - most of the chemical load and unloading activities will be in support of tall oil plant operations.
* Learn and monitor chemical process safety aspects of the area, completing incident reports and spill reports for deficiencies
* Loading and unloading activities consist of acid trucks across the mill, caustic trucks across the mill, soap trucks and rail cars, tall oil trucks and rail cars, sulfide trucks and rail cars, lime trucks.
