Our Merchandisers work in local stores to keep Coca-Cola products fully stocked on the shelves.
This position is primarily responsible for maintaining product availability and merchandising products at all designated accounts.

BASIC FUNCTION
Support staff position to coordinate issues related to tracking, maintaining, reporting requirements to ensure United States Coast Guard, (USCG), American Bureau of Shipping (ABS), United States Environmental Protection Regulatory (EPA) compliance for all Canal Barge Company, Inc.
(CBC) boats and barges.
Provide direct support for department personnel, vital customers, company systems, database maintenance and reporting requirements in support of Boat and Barge Maintenance operations.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
A.
Assist in all issues related to tracking, maintaining, reporting, and forecasting all requirements to ensure USCG/ABS/EPA Regulatory compliance for all CBC boats and barges.
B.
Provide direct support to SIRE Supervisor and Manager – Compliance & Systems to ensure quality and accuracy of information for Departmental/Company Databases, Reports, and Documentation Requirements to maintain equipment uptime.
C.
Carry out the CBC Mission, Business Philosophy and Code of Conduct.
III.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
A.
Assist in all issues related to tracking, maintaining, reporting, and forecasting all requirements to ensure USCG/ABS/EPA Regulatory compliance for all CBC boats and barges.
* Inspections Database – Responsible for updating, maintaining, and auditing inspections database
* Coordinate Internal Structure Exams (ISEs) with Project Manager and Port Engineer to include coordination of all shipyard outages with in-house or third-party surveyors
* Coordinate with USCG/ABS/EPA to understand requirements and maintain full and uninterrupted compliance
* Coordinate with Towing Vessel Inspection Bureau (TVIB) to understand Sub Chapter M requirements and maintain full and uninterrupted compliance.
* Certificates of Inspection (COI) – Assist in ensuring COIs are accurate and renewed as required and originals placed onboard
* Vessel General Permit (VGP) for EPA - Assist in reporting, tracking, processing, and maintaining fleetwide VGP
* USCG User Fees – Responsible for renewing User Fees through the USCG as required
* Certificates of Financial Responsibility (COFR) – Responsible for renewing COFRs through the Department of Homeland Security as required
* Certificates of Documentation (COD) – Responsible for renewing CODs through USCG as required
