Personal Risk Services, PRS, is currently seeking a Regional Underwriting Manager, responsible for a $300M book of business, to work with the Pacific/Southwest Region Underwriting Leader to contribute to the achievement of business results for the Dallas and Houston Branches.
The successful candidate will have direct reporting relationships for a team of Underwriters.
Key Responsibilities:
The Regional Underwriting Manager will be responsible for the execution of strategies to exceed profit and growth goals, development and coaching of underwriting talent and cultivation of strong partnerships internally with field and home office networks; as well as externally with key agents and producers.
This individual will have the opportunity to interact directly with underwriting center leadership, field, home office and territory management on a regular basis.
This position will be expected to develop strong relationships with producers along with traditional producer travel throughout the territory.
The successful individual will be responsible for executing a portfolio management learning curriculum designed to improve business acumen among underwriters and ensure underwriting work contributes to the health of the portfolio while supporting retention and attraction of top talent.

The Senior Catastrophe Analyst will be responsible for analyzing and quantifying Chubb's Personal Lines property and Recreational marine books exposed to the North American catastrophe perils such as Hurricane, Earthquake, Severe Convective Storm, Terrorism, Flood and Wildfires.
Such analyses require creating datasets from various data sources, performing analyses using multiple models and aggregation tools and communicating results and recommendations to senior management and external stakeholders.

* Perform quarterly/monthly roll-up of the personal lines exposure, analyzing and monitoring catastrophe risk via third part catastrophe models, internal tools and software.
