Temporary Accounting Technician I/II - Countywide Pool

The County of Riverside Temporary Assignment Program (TAP) seeks to fill Temporary Accounting Technician I/II positions throughout the County of Riverside for various departments.

A pool of qualified candidates will be established to fill current and future vacancies.

We are currently looking for candidates with experience in the following:


* Assisting with paying invoices


* Running reports and updating tracking spreadsheets


* Calculating and proofing worked hours and time reporting codes


* Running reports on overtime and sick leave hours for TAP employees


* Payroll adjustments as needed


* Performing the daily operations of the Roll Change unit in the Property Tax Division


* Researching roll corrections


* Verifying and posting refunds


* Data entry to post refunds

The most competitive candidate will have previous PeopleSoft Financials experience in completing adding/entering requisitions, purchase orders, processing vouchers and reimbursements.

Strong communication and technical accounting skills.

Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word.
