This opportunity is offered exclusively through the Department of War (DoW) SkillBridge Program and is intended for transitioning active-duty U.S.
service members.
SkillBridge participants remain on active duty and continue to receive military pay and benefits through the U.S.
Department of War.
Americold does not provide compensation or employment benefits during the SkillBridge participation period.
Participation in SkillBridge does not guarantee employment with Americold upon completion.

What you'll Do
• Operates and performs repair(s) and adjustment(s) of refrigeration system.
Monitor system performance and determine when system is not operating correctly.
• Performs routine maintenance on various types of warehouse equipment in accordance with OSHA Standards.
• Troubleshoots equipment and recommends corrective action.
• Tests, maintains, and evaluates equipment performance using instruments such as multi-meters.
• Maintains tools and machinery in good condition and use tools and equipment carefully as instructed.
• Conducts tests of safety equipment to ensure OHSA and operational standards.
• Maintains accurate preventive maintenance records.
• Keeps work area 6S'd (clean, organized, etc.), and performs housekeeping duties as required.
• Able to work flexible shifts if required, including on call.
• Performs other maintenance related work and job assignments as required.
What Experience and Education You Need
• Active-duty U.S.
service member eligible for the DoW SkillBridge Program
• Within approved SkillBridge participation window (typically final 180 days of service)
• Completion of trade school courses or minimal experience in one or more of the following areas preferred: building maintenance, material handling equipment maintenance or refrigeration maintenance (ammonia, Freon and/or CO2)
• High School Diploma or GED

Primary Responsibility :
Work under limited supervision to lead maintaining, troubleshooting, and controls modifications of mechatronic systems in a cold storage warehouse environment, to ensure overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).

Liquid Barge Technician
I.
BASIC FUNCTION
The Liquid Barge Technician plays a critical role in ensuring the safe and compliant operation of tank barges by conducting thorough inspections before and after cargo operations.
These inspections focus on verifying cleanliness, assessing mechanical functionality, and identifying any safety or regulatory issues that could impact operations.
The position demands strong mechanical aptitude, keen attention to detail, and a solid understanding of barge systems and applicable environmental and safety standards.
By maintaining high standards of inspection and compliance, the Liquid Barge Technician helps safeguard personnel, protect the environment, and support the efficient movement of cargo.
II.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
1.
Conduct inspections of tank barges, including but not limited to:
a.
Inspection of voids.
b.
Reading and understanding barge documents.
c.
Inspect all other working equipment on the barge.
d.
Inspect and verify barge cleanliness prior to leaving the cleaning facility.
e.
Starting of barge engine and inspection for defects.
f.
Experience locating hull damage, void tank inspections, and all fittings including winches.
2.
Familiarity with barge equipment and ability to perform minor preventative and corrective maintenance on barge pumps, pump engines, boilers, and heaters.
3.
Knowledge if the vapor recovery systems on tank barges include all piping and pressure vacuum relief valve (PVRV).
4.
Knowledge of the functions/operations of the cargo tanks, cargo piping, cargo tank valves, pump cans, check valve, pressure relief on pumps and hot oil heaters.
5.
Maintain and ensure that decks are clear from spills (cargo or engine fluids).
6.
Assist as needed with barge operations.
7.
Maintain a clean and safe working environment that complies with environmental guidelines and policies.
8.
Stay compliant with all regulatory bodies as it applies to the work that is being completed and with all safety rules and policies.
9.
Utilize proper PPE while performing work on barges.

SCOPE OF ROLE
Reporting to the Manager, Ryan White Program, the Medical Case Manager will provide a range of client-centered services that link clients with health care, psychosocial and other services.
You will coordinate and follow-up on medical treatments ensuring timely and coordinated access to medically appropriate levels of health and support services.
The Medical Case Manager ensures continuity of care through ongoing assessment of the client's and client's key family members' needs and personal support systems.
HOW YOU'LL SUCCEED
* Actively fulfill Medical Case Manager needs by working at various Signature Health locations as scheduled by your Supervisor.
* Provide an initial assessment of client service needs.
* Develop a comprehensive, individualized care plan and coordinate services required to implement the plan.
* Continuously monitor client progress to assess the efficacy of their treatment plan and conduct periodic re-evaluation and adaptation of the plan at least every six (6) months, as necessary.
* Provide a range of client-centered services that link clients with health care, psychosocial and other services, including benefits/entitlement counseling and referral activities, assisting the client to access other public and private programs for which the client may be eligible (.g., Medicaid, Medicare Part D, State Pharmacy Assistance Programs, and other State or local health care and supportive services).
* Provide ongoing assessment of the client's key family members' needs and personal support systems.
* Facilitate treatment adherence counseling to ensure readiness for, and adherence to, complex HIV/AIDS treatments.
* Maintain client charts that include the required elements for compliance with contractual and Ryan White Program requirements, including required case management activities, services, and activities, the type of contact, and the duration and frequency of the encounter.
