Position Overview
This position is responsible for operating a heavy diesel truck (Gross Vehicle Weight over 26,000 pounds) equipped with an auxiliary concrete mixer, consisting of a revolving drum to mix the concrete components during transport to construction sites.
You will be responsible for maintaining the materials in a liquid state through agitation or turning of the drum, until delivery at its destination.
Once on site, you will maneuver the truck appropriately to feed the concrete mixture to designated areas with a gravity fed chute on the back center of the truck.
Wage ranges from $30 to $35 an hour dependent on experience.
Key Responsibilities (Essential Duties and Functions)
* Maneuver truck into loading position for filling (hopper at plant) and unloading positions at customer job sites.
* Operate mixer to produce concrete from sand, gravel, cement, and water.
Adjust mixture (slump) as requested by customers at job sites.
* Assemble chutes and operate levers to release concrete per customer request.
* Clean truck after loading and after each delivery to prevent concrete from hardening in mixer and on truck surfaces.
* Perform pre-trip and post-trip truck inspections.
* Perform basic vehicle maintenance tasks, such as adding oil, fuel, or coolant and performing minor repairs.
* Fill out delivery paperwork, collect payment from customers when required and keep records of daily activities.

* Spray truck surfaces with protective compounds to resist concrete adhesion and for specialized cleaning.

Job Responsibilities
* Set production goals and expectations
* Visually inspects and tests machinery and equipment.
Set up and operate machinery
* Listen for unusual sounds from machines or equipment to detect malfunction and discuss machine operation variations with maintenance workers to diagnose problem or repair machine
* Operate forklift as directed and without supervision while adhering to all rules and regulations mandated by safety policies and procedures
* Inspect work in progress and finished product
* Oversee the daily preventive maintenance program
* Track/report inventory and parts usage
* Analyze scorecards and day shift production reports
* Train, promote, and discipline employees
* Ensure all safety rules are followed and employee follow safety program
* Supervise employees in department to ensure they meet quality and production standards
* Other duties and responsibilities related to the nature of the job may be assigned on a temporary or permanent basis as needed
Job Requirements
* Previous team lead experience in a manufacturing environment
* Experience providing on the job training to team members to include but not limited to the operation of forklift, bobcat, loader, and development of production machine troubleshooting skills
* Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and endure intermittent climbing, bending, stooping, twisting, reaching, pushing, and pulling
* Walking up and down elevated catwalks and stairs and standing for long periods of time

We are seeking an Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Technician to support a growing research and development facility.
In this role, you will serve as the site's primary E&I resource, helping ensure laboratory and process systems remain reliable, safe, and capable of supporting critical research activities.
This is a hands-on individual contributor position with a primary focus on instrumentation, controls, and electrical systems.

Our team operates from the Katy Technology Center in a collaborative R&D environment.

As the site's primary E&I resource, you will collaborate with researchers, contractors, technical personnel, and facility leadership to support operational success and help address the changing needs of a dynamic research environment.
This role follows a 9/80 work schedule and is primarily site-based with limited travel requirements.
What You Will Do
R&D E&I Technicians are primarily responsible for instrumentation, DCS and electrical preventive maintenance and repair work in accordance with our Environmental, Health, and Safety practices as part of the R&D team.
You will:
* Review the weekly work schedule and coordinate with the R&D team to align priorities to successfully execute critical work to maintain equipment availability and PM compliance.
* Maintain accurate maintenance logs and critical preventive maintenance findings.
* Assist in the development and implementation of reliability centered maintenance strategies
* Support implementation of project portfolio via Management of Change
