Position Summary:
Supports the Economic Survey Research Center’s (ESRC) core survey outreach and operations by coordinating intern onboarding, training, and day‑to‑day support for the ESRC’s Outreach Lab.
Assists in the management of and coordinates processes related to panelist recruitment including communication planning and oversight of external call center activities.
Plays a key role in maintaining and improving survey panels through monitoring response rates, managing retention activities, and ensuring regular updates and cleaning of the panel database.
Uses survey platforms and CRM tools such as Qualtrics and Salesforce to support panel operations and recruitment workflows.

Junior Buyer / Warehouse Associate
I.
BASIC FUNCTION
The primary function is to assist with procurement of goods and services for vessels and internal customers.
The Junior Buyer / Warehouse Associate is responsible for maintaining a safe, clean, and orderly warehouse.
II.
RESPONSIBILITIES
1.
Purchase items ranging from groceries for the vessels to marine and safety supplies.
2.
Assist in requesting RFQs for procurement of supplies needed for all internal customers.
3.
Assist with identifying potential vendors.
4.
Develop and maintain vendor relationships to ensure timely delivery of products and services.
5.
Collaborate with other departments to determine procurement needs.
6.
Review and approve purchase orders according to company policies and procedures.
7.
Follow-up on all Purchase Orders issued for timely delivery and track back-ordered purchases.
8.
Receive Purchase Orders within the ERP system as needed
9.
Handle routine expedites and track deliveries.
10.
Responsible for warehouse inventory
11.
Manage internal catalog with updated pricing and setting up new items accordingly.
12.
Work cross-functionally between buying and warehouse operations.
13.
Arrange for service, maintenance, and cleanliness of all Illinois Marine Towing company vehicles.
14.
Provide delivery (driving) for Canal Barge Company and Illinois Marine Towing vessels, as needed.
15.
Process invoices in the On Base software program and investigate/correct invoices as needed in support of the Accounting Department.
16.
Perform other duties as required and directed by the Purchasing Manager.

Experience in procurement functions is required
