What You'll Do
Under general supervision, the Forklift Operator will ensure safe and accurate receipt, storage, and shipment of food products utilizing equipment including, but not limited to, sit down and stand-up forklifts, high-reach forklifts, stand-up straddle trucks, walk behinds, pallet jacks, double pallet jacks and radio frequency equipment.
Essential Functions
* Efficiently and safely load and unload freight using proper equipment to move products to storage throughout facility.
* Effectively stack and store merchandise, pick and assemble orders for shipment, check freight for accuracy, damage, and infestation, while labeling, sorting, wrapping, packing, and repacking as directed by management.
* In compliance with OSHA standards, operate equipment (sit down and stand-up forklifts, high-reach forklifts, stand-up straddle trucks, walk behinds, single/double pallet jacks and RF scanners) in a manner that promotes safety.
* Must be able to meet production standards while maintaining a clean and orderly work environment.
* Perform other duties such as inventory, cleaning, or forklift battery changes and may be required to perform other duties outside of normal responsibilities as needed.
What Experience and Education You Need
* High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.
* Three (3) months of related work experience preferred.

Department:
Emergency Department
Works under the supervision of the Charge Nurse/Registered Nurse.
The Clinical Assistant performs basic patient care activities according to age appropriate and developmental needs of the patients, and clerical duties associated with preparing, compiling, and monitoring patient records according to distribution of staff and patient.
Should be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served on the unit.
Utilizes positive communication skills.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Performs basic patient care activities to include physical therapy and rehab services according to the age appropriate and developmental needs of the patient.
* Enters and processes orders.
Maintains patient records.
Assists with admissions, discharge and transfer of patients.
* Observes patients and reports unusual conditions and/or reactions to Licensed Nurse.
* Facilitates communication for the patient care unit.
Answers call lights and responds appropriately.
* Assists when ordering and maintaining unit supplies.
Orders supplies needed for patients and replenishes stock.
* Willingness to be flexible with patient care assignments, scheduling practices, and other duties as assigned.
* Utilizes positive communication skills to effect conflict resolution and teamwork.
* Maintains and improves organization and operations of nursing stations.
* Maintains a safe and clean work environment.
* Contributes to cost effective patient care by monitoring use of time, equipment and supplies.
* Complies with safety policies and procedures in order to provide a safe environment for employees, patients, and visitors.
* Actively participates in achieving departmental goals.
* Performs other duties as assigned.
Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
Licensure: State Nurse Assistant or EMT certification for staff hired after June 1998 required.
Current BLS/Healthcare Provider status as per American Heart Association standards required.
Experience: One (1) year experience as a CNA or EMT with acute care employment within the last 3-5 years.
Pay Range: The hourly rate for this position is $29.62 - $36.01.

Hourly Evening Shift Differential: $2.00
Hourly Night Shift Differential: $4.00

Performs a wide variety of highly demanding physical activities to assist in maintaining the hospital in a clean, sanitary, organized and attractive condition for patients, employees and visitors.
Performs all other duties as assigned.
Selects and obtains materials and supplies from designated area, stocks cart and reports to assigned areas.
Primary Duties:
* Cleans and restocks all carts and equipment at the end of shift.
* Cleans assigned areas by performing duties per department policies and procedures.
* Dust mops, wet mops, and/or buffs the floors using automatic equipment
* Vacuums carpets, moving furniture and equipment as needed
* Strip and resurface hard floors
* Shampoo, bonnet buff and extract carpets

Job Requirements:
Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
Licensure: Valid Driver's License required.
California Department of Transportation Medical Waste certificate required.
New hires/Transfers have 90 days from date of hire/transfer to obtain DOT Medical Waste Certificate.
Experience: Preferred but not required.
Essential Technical/Motor Skills: Manual dexterity of all limbs.
Ability to follow instructions and procedures.
Ability to perform strenuous work assignments for long periods of time.
Ability to operate complex machines and equipment related to housekeeping functions.
Pay Range: The hourly rate for this position is $29.75 - $32.95.
