Under supervision and direction of a registered nurse, nurse practitioner, or physician, delegating and working with Medical Assistants and the front desk team as needed, assisting with meeting quality metric goals, performing PDSA's, triage walk-ins, vaccine coordination, and all inventory and ordering duties for vaccine management, rooming and discharging patients as needed, drawing labs, maintaining medication refills, maintaining referral work queues, point of care testing, pre-visit prep, administering vaccines and medications for adults and pediatrics, assisting with procedures, running MDI huddles, maintaining Inbasket and email, and other assignments given by manager and/or leadership ; as well as, performing nursing duties within the scope of the Nurse Practice Act for vocational nursing in the care of patients in a hospital inpatient setting or outpatient clinic of a hospital, Public Health or Mental Health clinic; and do other work as required.
