The Environmental Technician can be based anywhere in the USA as it is 100% travel required.
This position is responsible for activities at customer sites and helping with onsite projects.

Current projects in HI, CA, WA, IL, LA, WI, NJ, MA, and MI, at times may work out of our Kalkaska or Mt Pleasant, MI locations on system and equipment builds.

For non-local work assignments Per Diem available daily, Hourly competitive pay rates, travel costs covered by the company.
Typical work schedule is 6-7 days a week- 12-hour shifts.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Performs intermediate skilled work in construction, repair, and maintenance of water distribution, treatment, and production infrastructure and equipment; maintains water distribution mains and service line, operates machinery and equipment, performs preventive maintenance, repairs, and new installation to the water system, and related work as apparent or assigned.
Work is performed under the limited supervision of the assigned supervisor.
The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, trustworthy, and reliable.
This person will have strong mechanical aptitude and will be able to complete their work in a safe and timely manner.
They will be able to work with limited supervision and have the integrity to do their job properly.
The ideal candidate must be flexible, possess good communication skills, and be able to work with others.
SPECIAL NOTE:
Candidate must possess Arizona Department of Environmental Quality (ADEQ) Grade II Water Distribution or Grade II Water Treatment Certification or equal grade certification from another state at the time of hire and CDL, Class A with tanker endorsement.
ADEQ certification must be obtained through reciprocity at hire.
The selected candidate who does not possess the required certification /CDL will be considered a trainee at the time of hire.
