The Rotating Equipment Turnaround Planner is responsible for all aspects of his/her assigned project throughout its life cycle.
The Rotating Equipment Turnaround Planner will report to the Turnaround Supervisor and ensure the current status of every phase is accurately reflected in the reporting cycle.
The Lead Rotating Equipment Turnaround Planner will also be the main point of contact for all coordination efforts during the execution of turnaround projects.
Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Planning Phase
* Receive/Review issued job scope.
* Assign technical data to jobs in planning software (PID#, torque specs, etc).
* Work with operations to get unit-specific data (blind lists, decon lists, chemical cleaning requirements).
* Gather quotes from vendors, compile them in folders and communicate this info with the Project Manager, Lead Turnaround Planner & cost department.
* Gather materials list for each job identifying and long lead critical items and work with materials coordinator to procure items.
* Assist scheduler with logic and job sequencing.
* Conduct meetings with stakeholders to present job plan for final approval.
Execution Phase
* Participate and lead contractor onboarding for your assigned contractors.
* Follow assigned contractors/jobs and verify progress and safety throughout all phases.
* Coordinate work through contract supervision and eliminate any obstacles that could prevent advancement.
* Review 3 shifts look ahead and update priorities.
* Work with scheduler to monitor productivity of contractor throughout all phases.
* Track & Plan AWR's & Delay forms as needed.
* Attend rollover meetings and present status of all assigned work.
* Validate manpower needs through scheduler data and monitoring work fronts in the field.
* Validate contractor progress to ensure accurate forecasting.
