KEY OBJECTIVE:
* Under the direction of the Claims Team Leader investigates and settles claims promptly, equitably and within established best practices guidelines.
MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Receive new assignments.

* May assist Team Leader and company attorneys in preparing cases for trial by arranging for attendance of witnesses and taking statements.
Continues efforts to settle claims before trial.
* Refers claims to subrogation as appropriate.

* Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in sales and/or real estate
* 3+ years of mortgage lending and proven sales experience in retail banking
* Knowledge of real estate market in local area
* Excellent written and oral communication skills
* Knowledge of FHA, VA, FNMA, and FHLMC guidelines
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
* FHA/VA sales experience
* Marketing, promoting, relationship building, and consulting skills
* Intermediate PC skills in a Windows environment
