Assist in the daily functions and operations of the Accounting Department within the assigned specialty area (Treasury Management, Financial Reporting, General Accounting).
What You'll Do:
* Review expense reports to ensure that all documentation is in place and that all policies
are followed
* Prepare monthly expense report summaries, manage reports, and client billing
documentation
* Assist with the global setup and administration of Concur Expense
* Prepare and analyze reports for travel-related expenses
* Prepare and review Accounts Payable and supporting documentation
* Process payments for approval and distribution to vendors
* Process payments to consultants as required
* Process payments to clinical trial sites using prescribed guidelines and CTMS system; assist in site payment reconciliations as needed
* Review monthly payment activity to ensure accurate coding and make journal entry reclassifications as needed
* Manage open vendor invoice statements to ensure compliance with payment terms
* Maintain vendor listing and associated metrics
* Maintain W-9s, generate 1099s at year-end and ensure compliance
* Maintain accounting records and assist with the monthly financial reporting cycle
* Assist with maintenance of the lntacct accounting system, automated reports, and dockets
* Assist with reports, projections, and analysis
* Assist with the expense budgeting process and monthly variance reporting
* Assist with the preparation of compliance work papers and documentation
* Special projects as needed

What You'll Bring:
* Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance
* At least 1 year of analytical, accounting, finance experience and/or equivalent combination of education and experience
* Intacct accounting software experience preferred
* Accounts Payable experience preferred
