To support for Indirect tax compliances, Audit, litigations for Schneider India legal entities and need to work with internal business partners, strategic and routine advisory to business teams..
This includes:
• Manage Tax assessments/ audits.
Handle indirect tax litigation, appear before authorities, draft replies/ appeals, deal with consultants/ advocates.
• Responsible to ensure indirect tax compliances
• Working closely with cross functional teams and designing or improving tax compliance process
• Interface with Auditors and support finance team in finalization of statutory accounts, tax audit, etc.

• Work on various projects or to support to minimize or to mitigate litigation.

Qualifications
• The candidate should be a qualified Chartered Accountant or Cost Accountant with strong tax acumen having at least 7-8 years of post-qualification relevant tax experience.
• The candidate should have progressive tax experience with exposure to Indian Indirect tax (including VAT, Excise, Service Tax)
• The candidate should have good understanding of ERPs such as SAP, ORACLE and have good digital acumen.
• The candidate must be a person of integrity who subscribes to high business ethical standards.
• The candidate should have good interpersonal, communication & analytical skills.
