Successful completion of the UAP certification with the North Dakota Board of Nursing (NDBON) or from another state registry recognized by the NDBON within one month of employment.
Job Goal:UAPs are trained to function in an assistive role to the registered nurse in the provision of care activities as delegated by and under the supervision of the registered nurse.
Employees in this position are trained to supplement the services of school nurses by assisting students requiring care management of their condition or diagnosis.
