John Zink, a Koch Engineered Solutions company, is looking to add a Global Technology Director of Fired Equipment, to our Engineering and Technology team.
The preference is for this role to be based in Tulsa, OK but we are open to a remote scenario.

What You Will Do
• Responsible for leading a team of technical experts across diverse product and business lines
• Responsible for supervising and developing employees to maximize their contributions by applying Principle Based Management (PBM).
• Responsible for building and maintain strong relationships with Subject Matter Experts (SME's), industry contacts and stakeholders
• Collaborate and support providing technical guidance to end users/licensors aligned with the business and operational needs.
• Define technical strategy and roadmaps for the organization partnering the product line and commercial leaders for fired equipment (process burners, flares, thermal oxidizers).
• Develop, advance, and implement technology strategies that align with the company objectives and customer needs, ensuring both technical excellence and commercial viability.
• Continuously gathering customer feedback to improve technical and commercial solutions.
The Experience You Will Bring
Requirements (Basic Qualifications):
• Technical expertise of fired heaters, combustions processes, heat transfer, and thermodynamics.
• Operations experience in maintenance, optimizing, troubleshooting of burners, fired heaters and related fired equipment.
• Demonstrated experience with mentorship, influencing, and the capacity to inspire and drive team performance.
• Demonstrated experience interacting with various stakeholders, including engineers, technicians, and senior management
• Travel up to 25%
