Parking Lot Painting Company (PLP Co.) is seeking a dedicated Union Pavement Marking & Heavy Highway Equipment Operator to join our field operations team dispatched out of Bethel Park, PA.
In this high-impact union field role, you will operate specialized highway marking equipment—including thermoplastic trucks, high-pressure water blasters, epoxy application rigs, and pavement grinding/grooving machinery.
Dispatched on municipal, PennDOT, and federal highway infrastructure projects across Greater Pittsburgh, you will manage roadway layout, quantity tracking, and mobile traffic control closures.

What You'll Do
* Apply lubricants to conveyor bearings, crushing equipment bearings, and other plant components to help prevent premature wear and support reliable equipment performance.
* Perform thorough visual inspections of equipment and plant areas, including checking for leaks, wear, or other maintenance concerns.
* Communicate inspection findings and recommend additional servicing or repairs when needed.
* Operate a skid steer and other assigned equipment safely and responsibly.

The Operations & Mine Planning Manager is a cross-functional resource supporting Area Managers, Plant Superintendents, and aggregate operations across an assigned geographic area.
The position combines field operational support with mine planning, permitting, regulatory compliance, property and reserve planning, and long-range operational development.
Working with operations personnel, technical and environmental resources, engineering support, outside consultants, and regulatory agencies, this role helps translate long-term mine plans and permit requirements into practical operating plans.
The position supports immediate business needs while advancing the responsible development, extraction, reclamation, and long-term stewardship of aggregate reserves.
Key Responsibilities (Essential Duties and Functions)

Operations and Area Manager Support
• Assist Area Managers and Plant Superintendents with operational planning and execution across assigned aggregate facilities.
