Mobile Equipment Operator position is a key positon transporting materials throughout the quarry into piles, trucks or crushers, depending upon production/shipping requirements.
WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH
* Primary operations of haul trucks; water trucks, rock breakersand fuel truck.
* Depending upon quarry operational requirements, operating mobile equipment to include, but not limited to front end loaders (993s, 992s, 980s, etc.), haul trucks, dozers, backhoes, grader, excavators, fuel truck, dredge and skid steer loaders.
* Inspect all operating equipment each shift, complete inspection sheets and report problems.
* Correct malfunctions or irregularities of operating equipment and safety hazards or report to quarry supervisor if corrections cannot be made.
* Do any cleanup that is necessary to have a better and safer working environment.
* Taking accurate and reliable counts of material additions as required.
* Maintain strong communication with quality personnel and make adjustment to material blends as required
* Communicate all safety, maintenance and production needs.
* Other responsibilities as assigned.
* Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas.
