Construction Manager – Direct Field Operations & Civil Engineering Projects for Eleven Engineering, Inc.

The Opportunity

You will serve as a hands-on field leader directing daily on-site operations, crew safety, and heavy equipment for environmental remediation and earthwork construction projects.

How You Will Make an Impact


* Strategically align company goals with daily field operations from project kickoff through final site closure.


* Direct site execution, managing scope, resource allocation, cost controls, material buy-outs, and change order negotiations.


* Supervise and mentor on-site crews and heavy equipment operators while enforcing health and safety programs.


* Track daily physical progress and financial data to generate accurate forecasts, invoices, and performance reports.


* Perform construction estimating for project change orders and assist with identifying new business opportunities.


* Foster strong client relationships through proactive communication and reliable project delivery.

Required Qualifications & Experience


* Minimum 5 years of general engineering and heavy civil construction management experience.


* Proven track record in managing field operations, earthwork execution, site preparation, or environmental remediation.


* Strong problem-solving skills with high attention to detail and ability to work independently in dynamic field settings.


* Excellent written and verbal communication skills with proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Project).


* Willingness and flexibility to travel up to 70% to manage day-to-day operations directly on regional project sites.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience


* Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Environmental Engineering, or a related discipline.


* 10 or more years of leadership experience overseeing soil treatment, stabilization, groundwater, or utility construction.


* Advanced expertise in project control software, financial forecasting, and change order estimating.
