Job Description:

Leads a strategic product management function responsible for defining, building, and bringing to market HPE's Storage as a Service offering.

Operates with broad ownership across product strategy, business model, product definition, market positioning, customer experience, and go-to-market execution.

This leader will act with a general manager mindset, working across product management, engineering, marketing, sales, services, operations, customer success, finance, and other organizations to establish and scale a differentiated, outcomes-based storage service.

The role requires the ability to move seamlessly from strategy and business considerations to technical product definition and execution.

The Senior Director will help define the MVP and roadmap while driving an aggressive path to market.

The role will initially lead a small, focused team while influencing resources and priorities across the broader Hybrid Cloud and HPE organizations.

Responsibilities



* Define and drive the end-to-end strategy for HPE's Storage as a Service offering, including the product vision, value proposition, target customer outcomes, service levels, business model, MVP, roadmap, and path to market.



* Lead the development of an outcomes-based storage consumption model designed around customer requirements, SLAs/SLOs, service levels, consumption, performance, and capacity rather than a traditional hardware-first approach.



* Operate with a GM-style ownership mindset, driving the full product lifecycle across strategy, business definition, product management, technical requirements, cross-functional execution, market introduction, and ongoing evolution of the offering.



* Define the initial minimum viable product and launch roadmap, balancing speed to market with the need to deliver a compelling and differentiated customer offering.
