Pay: $26-$28 per hour
Job Responsibilities


* Packing hazardous waste at customer locations.


* Traveling to customer sites throughout the territory.


* Territory covers Montana and neighboring cities.


* Some overnight travel is required.

Schedule


* Monday-Friday.


* Occasional Saturdays.


* Start time: 7:00 AM.


* Workdays typically range from 10-14 hours, depending on the day's workload.

Travel Requirements


* Overnight travel approximately 2-3 times per month.


* Hotel accommodations paid for by Clean Harbors.


* $38 per day in per diem for travel expenses.

CDL Training & Requirements


* Must obtain a Class B CDL with endorsements after six months of employment.


* Clean Harbors sponsors CDL school.

Clean Harbors in Spokane, WA is seeking an Environmental Field Chemist (CleanPack Chemist) to handle, segregate, pack, and inspect chemical waste in accordance with Federal/State/Local regulations and our company policies and procedures.

This position will work both indoors and outdoors at plants, labs, customer sites and are responsible for assisting with lab packs within customer facilities, household hazardous waste (HHW) collections and lab moves.

This is a customer facing position, working at customer sites daily.

The Environmental Field Chemist are (NOT) laboratory-based Chemist.
