Healthcare Recruiter Intern

The Healthcare Recruiter Intern supports the Human Resources department with recruitment and onboarding activities while gaining hands-on experience in the full-cycle recruitment process within a healthcare organization.

This position provides an opportunity to learn various aspects of healthcare recruiting, including candidate sourcing, screening, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding.

• Assists the HR department with full-cycle recruitment activities for clinical and non-clinical positions across the organization.• Learns and assists with sourcing, identifying, and attracting qualified candidates through various recruitment platforms, job boards, and social media.• Assists with reviewing applications, screening candidates, and coordinating interviews with hiring managers.• Communicates with candidates throughout the recruitment process, providing updates and assisting with follow-up.• Assists with preparing and extending employment offers and coordinating pre-employment requirements.• Supports onboarding activities, including initiating and tracking pre-employment screenings, background checks, drug screens, and required documentation.• Assists with new hire paperwork, electronic personnel files, and HRIS data entry to ensure accurate employee records.• Participates in new hire orientation and assists with onboarding preparation and coordination.• Maintains accurate recruitment records and candidate information within the applicant tracking system.• Assists with recruitment initiatives, job fairs, employee referral programs, and other talent acquisition projects.• Assists the Human Resources department with additional administrative tasks and special projects as needed.The above statements are intended to be a representative summary of the major duties and responsibilities performed by incumbents of this job.
