A Brief Overview

The Director, Master Data Management (MDM) is responsible for establishing, governing, and maintaining Voyant Beauty's enterprise master data across ERP, supply chain, manufacturing, quality, customer, vendor, and product domains.

This position serves as the enterprise owner of master data standards, processes, and governance practices to ensure data accuracy, consistency, integrity, and accessibility across business units, manufacturing sites, and systems.

The Director partners closely with Operations, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Quality, Finance, Sales, R&D, and IT, as well as functional Data Owners and Data Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), to establish and maintain effective data governance, standardize processes, improve data quality, and support enterprise reporting, planning, forecasting, and decision-making.

The role is responsible for advancing a consistent "One Voyant" approach to master data management by defining accountability, strengthening governance controls, improving data processes, and promoting a reliable single source of truth across the organization.

* Develop, implement, and maintain enterprise master data policies, standards, procedures, and governance practices across master data domains.

Establish clear ownership, stewardship, accountability, and decision-making responsibilities for Data Owners and Data SMEs.

Lead or facilitate Master Data Governance meetings, review boards, and cross-functional governance discussions.

Define data quality standards, metrics, and compliance expectations.

Establish and oversee data lifecycle processes, including data creation, modification, activation, obsolescence, retention, and archival.
