We're hiring a manager to join our Manufacturing Operations team in Cork.

What you'll achieve

As a Manager 1, Production Operations, you will lead a front-line manufacturing team at our Cork site, driving operational excellence through people, performance, and continuous improvement.

You will play a pivotal role in developing high-performing teams, fostering a culture of accountability and innovation, and delivering outstanding results across safety, quality, service, and cost.

You will:


* Lead and develop a manufacturing team to consistently achieve and exceed key performance indicators.


* Drive operational excellence through effective planning, execution, problem-solving, and performance management.


* Collaborate with cross-functional partners and the Cork Manufacturing Leadership Team to optimize site performance and achieve strategic goals.


* Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and accountability, encouraging teams to challenge the status quo and deliver stretch performance.


* Champion employee engagement, inclusion, and wellbeing while creating an environment where individuals and teams can thrive.


* Lead change initiatives and support the execution of strategic priorities across the manufacturing organization.


* Ensure the highest standards of safety, quality, compliance, and operational discipline are always maintained.

Here's what we are looking for with this role:

Essential Requirements


* 3rd level qualification in a relevant discipline (e.g., Engineering, Manufacturing, Business, or similar)


* 5+ years of hands-on experience working in a manufacturing environment


* Strong organisational skills - you can juggle multiple priorities and keep things on track


* Clear, confident communicator who can work across teams and talk to all levels of the business


* A natural leader who can motivate and guide a team


* Ability to engage, develop, and inspire high-performing teams.


* Strong understanding of manufacturing operations, processes, and operational excellence principles.


* Must have the flexibility and willingness to lead operations on a 4 cycle shift operation if / when required

Desirable Requirements


* Experience with lean manufacturing or continuous improvement practices


* Familiarity with production planning tools or shop floor systems
