Pay Rate: $19.50 per hour

Diablo Valley Post Acute is seeking an organized, dependable, and detail-oriented Medical Records Assistant to join our team!

The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain accurate and confidential medical records.

Responsibilities:


* Maintain, organize, and update resident medical records.


* Ensure medical records are accurate, complete, and properly filed.


* Assist with admissions, discharges, and medical record documentation.


* Retrieve and process medical records as requested.


* Maintain confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations.


* Assist with audits and other administrative duties as needed.

Qualifications:


* Previous medical records or healthcare administrative experience preferred.


* Knowledge of HIPAA and medical terminology is a plus.


* Strong organizational and communication skills.


* Computer proficiency and attention to detail.


* Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
