The Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta territory covers the Sixth Federal Reserve District, which includes Alabama, Florida, and Georgia, and portions of Louisiana, Mississippi, and Tennessee.

The Atlanta Fed and the other Reserve Banks play an important part in all three of the Fed's functions: monetary policy, bank supervision and regulation, and the operation of a nationwide payment system.

SCOPE OF ASSIGNMENT: 

This role will support the local Information Security function in delivering District-specific security services that complement centralized enterprise security programs.

This role provides exposure to the unique responsibilities of District-level security work, including local incident coordination, threat monitoring, risk assurance, and stakeholder engagement — all performed in close partnership with central security teams while addressing needs specific to this Reserve Bank location.

QUALIFICATIONS: 


* Networking Knowledge: Understand TCP/IP, DNS, routing, and firewalls to see how data moves and where vulnerabilities hide.


* Operating Systems: Know your way around both Windows and Linux command lines, file structures, and user permissions.
