Salary Range: $145,000.00 - $155,000.00 Annually

Overview

The Area Director of Finance provides strategic financial leadership and oversight for the Marriott Virginia Beach Oceanfront, The Historic Cavalier Hotel and Beach Club, Autograph Collection, and Embassy Suites by Hilton Virginia Beach Oceanfront.

This position supervises and directs all financial activities across the portfolio, safeguards hotel assets, and ensures the preparation of accurate financial reports in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), ownership requirements, and HEI Hotels & Resorts standards.
As a key member of the executive leadership team, the Area Director of Finance partners closely with General Managers, operational leaders, regional leadership, and ownership representatives to maximize profitability, strengthen internal controls, support strategic decision-making, and drive overall financial performance.

This role oversees all accounting, budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, cash management, and compliance functions while ensuring alignment with both Marriott and Hilton brand standards and company objectives.
