BUILDING MATERIALS SALES ASSOCIATE

What you'll do Counter and phone sales Greet walk-in customers and answer incoming calls with friendly, professional service.Help customers plan their projects and sell the building materials they need.Advise customers on product availability and pricing.Prepare quotes and enter every sales order completely and accurately.Process customer payments at the counter and reconcile daily receipts.

Account growth Maintain and grow existing commercial and retail accounts through regular follow-up.Prospect for new contractor and retail customers.Support the quote review and proposal process for commercial fence installations.Share customer and competitor pricing feedback with the Branch Manager to help shape product and pricing decisions.

Yard and store operations Validate loading tickets and coordinate orders and deliveries so customers get the right materials on time.Keep the store clean, safe, and stocked with the products customers need.Follow and promote safe practices in the yard and warehouse.Suggest improvements to branch processes that make service faster and more reliable for customers.Take on special projects as needed.

Your first 90 days You'll learn about our product lines, pricing, and order systems alongside the Branch Manager.

From there, you'll take over a set of existing accounts and start building your own customer list.

Compensation and benefits $40,000 base salary plus commissionMondayFriday daytime schedule, 7:00 a.m.

to 4:00 p.m.
