DEPCOM Power, a Koch Engineered Solutions company, is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Environmental Permitting Intern for Summer 2027.

This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience supporting environmental compliance efforts for utility-scale solar projects.

You will work alongside experienced EH&S professionals to support compliance activities across active construction sites.

This role is located in Scottsdale, AZ.

What You Will Do


* Assist in supporting compliance with Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPP) and Spill Prevention, Control, and Countermeasure (SPCC) requirements


* Support environmental compliance inspections, audits, and documentation efforts


* Help prepare, organize and track compliance documentation and reports, permit requirements, and inspection schedules


* Participate in EH&S training events and team activities


* Collaborate with Engineering and Construction teams to support environmentally compliant project solutions


* Assist in identifying opportunities to improve compliance processes and documentation


* Opportunity to participate in site visits to better understand project execution, broader EH&S initiatives, and business drivers

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)


* Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree, Master's degree, or alternative program in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Sustainability, Environmental Policy, or a related field


* Eligible for full-time employment on or before Summer 2028


* Legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship
