Care Team Leader- Inpatient Pediatric Intermediate/Complex Care Unit

75% FTE, Day/Evening Shifts between 0700-1530 or 0700-1930.

Every 3rd weekend with a holiday rotation required.

You will be working at the American Family Children's Hospital in Madison, WI.

Pay:

Additional components of compensation may include:


* Shift Differentials: $4/hour evening and $5/hour night as applicable for hours worked.


* Weekend Differential: $4.25/hour as applicable for hours worked.

We are seeking a Care Team Leader RN to:


* Work closely with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate a holistic plan of care for the patient and family.


* Care for children dependent on technology such as home ventilators and home dialysis as well as children dependent on tracheostomies.


* You will also care for patients with acute and chronic nephrology diseases, new diagnosis of type 1 diabetes, epilepsy and idiopathic/non-idiopathic scoliosis.

Qualifications



* Baccalaureate degree in nursing Preferred

Work Experience



* 2 years experience in an inpatient unit Required


* 2 years of combined work experience and leadership experience may be considered in lieu of two (2) years' experience in an inpatient unit Required


* 3 years experience in an acute care inpatient unit Preferred


* Relevant RN experience with department-specific patient population Preferred

Licenses & Certifications



* Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of WI or holds a license issued by a jurisdiction that has adopted the nurse licensure compact Required


* Current CPR/BLS certification Required


* Peds Universal Care- PALS within 180 Days Required


* National certification in relevant specialty Preferred
