Position Summary: The Full Stack (UI/UX) Engineer 3 will have strong foundational software engineering capabilities with a focus in front-end software development.

This position will lead BlueForge Alliances efforts to modernize our user interfaces and improve user experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Lead the UI/UX design and frontend development life cycle, translating complex mission workflows and user requirements into clean, high-performance, and intuitive web interfaces.Create wireframes, interactive prototypes, and UI component specifications using modern design tools (Figma or equivalent) prior to engineering implementation.Build, maintain, and optimize custom frontend applications utilizing core React.js, TypeScript/JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS, adhering strictly to platform and framework constraints without using meta-frameworks like Next.jsIntegrate interactive user interfaces directly with the Palantir Foundry platform and platform APIs, building responsive, object-oriented dashboards and operational tools.Support end-to-end data integration by writing backend scripts and ETL pipelines to clean, transform, and prep raw datasets for frontend consumption and ontology mapping.Manage component state, render lifecycles, and performance optimizations for data-heavy, interactive visual applications within containerized or platform-embedded environments.Maintain thorough design systems, code repositories, and technical documentation.Actively participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, leveraging Jira and Confluence to estimate tasks, track sprints, and communicate progress.Collaborate cross-functionally with software/data engineers, project managers, and end users to iterate rapidly on feedback.Performs other related duties as assigned.
