Loan Officer

LAFCU is seeking an experienced, member-focused Loan Officer to help members find lending solutions that support their financial goals.

In this role, you'll evaluate consumer and real estate loan applications, make lending decisions within established guidelines, and guide members through the loan process.

If you bring strong lending knowledge, sound judgment, and a commitment to exceptional member service, we'd love to hear from you! What You'll Do Review and evaluate consumer and real estate loan applications, including applicants' financial information, credit history, and property evaluations.

Approve or deny loans within established lending authority and LAFCU policies, and establish credit limits for lines of credit and credit cards.

Explain loan options, answer questions, and provide financial guidance to help members make informed decisions.

Identify and recommend LAFCU products and services that meet members' needs.

Prepare, review, and audit loan documents and member information for accuracy; issue and disburse loans as needed.

Process loan extensions, payoffs, lien terminations, and collateral releases.

Support the development and implementation of loan programs, maintain loan records, and prepare reports.

Meet individual and departmental goals while supporting accurate, efficient, and compliant lending practices.
