Purpose:

The Senior Director is responsible for integrating and translating primary, secondary, competitive and market insights into growth strategies for the Oncology Heme business unit.

This position is a member of the Oncology Heme Leadership team, and serves as an internal consultant to the President, Vice Presidents of Sales, Marketing, Medical Affairs, Finance, and other senior franchise leaders.

This position plays a leading role in advising management in the development and implementation of business strategies and as a result, shares accountability for business results.

You will be responsible for:


* Provides oversight for strategic and business plans, brand strategies, new product / indication launch plans, and long- and short-range financial forecasts.


* Operates as a trusted advisor to senior business unit leaders.

Utilizes strategic and operational insights, and executive level problem solving, communication and leadership skills to drive organizational action that leads to tangible growth.


* Acts as the 'quarterback' with broad oversight of all insights, analytics & operational activities for the business unit:
+ Sets and continuously aligns business unit and insights, analytics & operational priorities with the President and key commercial leaders
+ Deploys resources against key priorities and critical business issues, making trade-offs as required
