Project Management Intern - Summer 2027

ROLE SUMMARY / PURPOSE: The Project Management Intern will support the Project Management team in planning, coordinating, and tracking projects from inception to completion.

This internship provides hands-on experience in project execution, cross-functional collaboration, and exposure to real-world project management processes.

The intern will gain valuable insights into construction, precast production, and operations while contributing meaningfully to ongoing projects.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Assist Project Managers in tracking project schedules, milestones, and deliverables.Support preparation of project documentation, including meeting notes, reports, and status updates.Collaborate with internal teams (Engineering, Operations, Sales) to gather information and coordinate project tasks.Participate in project meetings and document key takeaways and action items.Assist in maintaining project tracking systems, dashboards, and reporting tools.Support communication with clients and vendors as directed by Project Managers.Contribute to process improvement initiatives and assist in identifying efficiency opportunities.Complete ad-hoc assignments and projects as assigned by the Project Management team.

SUCCESSFUL RESULTS: Understanding of timely and accurate project tracking, reporting, and coordination activities.Clear, organized documentation of project status and action items.Improved understanding of project management processes and tools.Positive contribution to projects and cross-functional team collaboration.

REQUIREMENTS: Currently pursuing a Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or related field.Strong organizational, time management, and attention-to-detail skills.Demonstrated initiative, responsiveness, and willingness to learn.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams).Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.Interest in construction, project management, or operations.Professional attitude with a willingness to learn and take initiative.
