Sr Software Architect

Job Requirements

Mission / Position Summary:

Responsible for defining and evaluating the technical architecture and implementation approach for software products.

Lead the design of scalable, efficient, cost-effective, and high-quality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:


* Define and guide software architecture and technical implementation strategies.


* Assess the feasibility of functional and non-functional requirements, including performance, maintainability, scalability, usability, and portability, in collaboration with product management.


* Evaluate different technical solutions and support architectural decision-making.


* Identify opportunities to reuse existing components and promote standardization.


* Provide technical leadership to development teams, ensuring architectural consistency and high-quality delivery.


* Own and maintain all architecture-related documentation throughout the project lifecycle.


* Contribute to risk analysis and define mitigation plans by collaborating with relevant stakeholders and experts.


* Work closely with global Business Line architects and internal software architects.


* Participate in technical knowledge sharing and promote architecture best practices across projects and teams.

Qualifications:


* BE / B.Tech / ME / M.Tech / MCA

Required Skills and Experience:


* 15+ years of experience in software development area.


* 12+ years of experience in software design and architecture.


* Experience in the medical or healthcare domain is must.


* Strong knowledge of developing/designing imaging applications.


* Strong knowledge of healthcare interoperability standards and protocols such as DICOM, HL7, and FHIR.


* Good understanding of medical quality standards, including ISO 13485.
