We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Janitor to join our environmental services team.

Key Responsibilities


* Maintain Cleanliness: Sweep, mop, scrub, and vacuum floors throughout the facility, including resident rooms, common areas, and hallways.


* Waste Disposal: Empty trash, recycling, and biohazard containment bins daily according to healthcare regulations.


* Sanitization: Clean and disinfect restrooms, high-touch surfaces, fixtures, and clinical spaces to minimize infection risks.


* Supply Management: Monitor and restock cleaning supplies, soap dispensers, and paper products.


* Facility Care: Assist with minor maintenance tasks, floor buffing, and setting up rooms for facility events as needed.


* Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols, chemical handling procedures (OSHA/SDS), and healthcare compliance standards.

Qualifications


* Schedule Flexibility: Ability to work a rotating 4 on, 2 off schedule, which will periodically include weekends and holidays.


* Experience: Prior janitorial, custodial, or environmental services (EVS) experience preferred; experience in a healthcare or hospitality setting is a major plus.


* Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs throughout an 8-hour shift.


* Reliability: Strong work ethic, punctuality, and excellent attention to detail.


* Communication: Ability to read instructions, follow safety labels, and interact politely with residents and staff.


* Background Check: Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening required for healthcare facility employment.
