We are seeking a passionate and experienced Front Office Duty Manager to oversee our Guest Services operations, lead a high-performing team and deliver memorable guest experiences.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:


* Oversee Front Desk, Concierge, Porter, Transport, Instant Service and Activity Services operations.


* Lead daily briefings, support colleagues and ensure seamless shift operations.


* Deliver exceptional guest experiences by managing feedback, resolving concerns and coordinating VIP arrivals and personalised guest recognition.


* Lead, motivate, train and develop the team to maintain high service standards and operational efficiency.


* Monitor labour costs, oversee cashiering and night audit functions, and drive revenue through upselling initiatives.


* Support emergency response procedures, workplace health and safety, security and responsible service of alcohol requirements.


* Collaborate with department leaders to ensure smooth resort operations, including acting as the senior manager on duty when required.

To be successful in this full-time role, you’ll have:


* Minimum three years' management experience in a five-star luxury hotel or resort.


* Tertiary qualification in Hotel Management, Hospitality or Business.


* Strong leadership, communication and guest service skills.


* Experience with OPERA PMS, financial procedures and team development.


* Flexible availability, including nights, weekends and public holidays.


* Current Queensland RSA certification and a valid driver's licence.


* Ability to travel by boat as required for island operations.
