Work You'll Do / Responsibilities

This role supports a large financial services client within Deloitte's AI & Engineering practice.

You'll join a team building and operating a modern data platform that provides dependable, scalable access to enterprise data for analytics, reporting, and automation.

You'll design and improve data pipelines, optimize platform performance, and help standardize how data is ingested, processed, and delivered.


* Design, build, and maintain batch and near-real-time pipelines across multiple data sources.


* Develop and tune distributed processing jobs, balancing performance, cost, and reliability.


* Organize and model data in warehouse and lake environments, keeping it documented and discoverable.


* Write clean, tested, version-controlled code and contribute to code reviews and CI/CD.


* Implement data-quality checks and monitoring to identify issues before they affect downstream users.


* Partner with analysts, product owners, and client stakeholders to translate requirements into technical work.


* Contribute to sprint planning, estimation, status reporting, design documentation, and operational procedures.
