Job Summary The Switchgear Specialist is responsible for preparing accurate, competitive, and timely quotations for switchgear and related electrical products.

This role serves as a technical and commercial resource for customers and internal teams by interpreting project specifications, developing bills of material, and ensuring solutions comply with applicable standards and project requirements.

Success in this role requires strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple bids and deadlines simultaneously.

Essential Functions ? Prepare accurate and competitive switchgear quotes and bids in alignment with customer requirements and project deadlines.? Review and interpret technical schematics, electrical drawings, and project specifications to determine compliant product solutions.? Develop detailed bills of material from drawings, specifications, and written project documentation.? Provide technical guidance and product support to customers, sales teams, and internal stakeholders.? Ensure accurate data transfer between customer project documentation and company systems, including electrical plans and schedules.? Maintain current knowledge of switchgear products, capabilities, warranties, services, and market conditions.? Collaborate with manufacturers, suppliers, and internal teams to support pricing, availability, and technical compliance.? Communicate clearly with customers and internal teams regarding scope, specifications, and quote details.? Manage multiple bids and priorities while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines.? Perform other job-related duties as assigned by leadership.
