Program Aide

Position Summary: The Program Aide is responsible for assisting in the delivery of education and nutrition services.

This includes bathroom and diapering, tooth brushing, and kitchen duties as necessary.

This position assists in maintaining clean and safe indoor and outdoor environments.

Classroom Support & Child Development Assist teachers with classroom routines and daily activities.Support the implementation of lesson plans and developmentally appropriate learning experiences.Assist with providing snacks and meals to children in accordance with program expectations.

Learning Environment & Safety Assist teachers in maintaining clean, safe, and engaging indoor and outdoor learning environments.Support classroom practices that promote children's health, safety, and well-being.

Compliance & Program Quality Ensure compliance with Bauer policies, State Licensing requirements, and Head Start Program Performance Standards.

Collaboration & Professional Development Participate in staff meetings and ongoing professional development opportunities, including: Twice-monthly staff meetingsMonthly Professional Development DaysQuarterly All-Agency meetingsAnnual Pre-Service training QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this position successfully, an individual must demonstrate regular, predictable attendance and be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

Education/Certification/Licensure: High School diploma or equivalentMust maintain a valid driver's license and meet requirements set by insurance carrier at all times.
