Nurse Practitioner

Digestive Care Center is looking for a Nurse Practitioner to serve as a licensed independent practitioner and is responsible for the assessment, diagnosis, evaluation, plan of care, and treatment of our patients.

What You Need for this Position: · Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.

· Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.

· NP License in Indiana or ability to obtain Indiana License.

· Basic Life Support (BLS) required.

· Computer literacy with ability to learn new computer program quickly.

· GI Medical office experience preferred.

What You Will Be Doing: · See patients in the clinic or urgent care setting.

· Consults with physician as needed for optimum patient care.

· Develops and implements treatment plans.

· Orders diagnostic tests.

· Orders and interprets diagnostic tests relative to the patient's needs.

· Prescribes appropriate medications and treatments.

· Collaborates with physicians and other nurse practitioners on patient care.

· Regular attendance is an essential part of this job.
