Recreation Specialist/DSP (Direct Support Professional)

This position qualifies for rate differentials, the pay range with the differentials added is $21.50 per hour to $24.50 per hour.

Schedule: Wednesday - Saturday 2pm - 10pm & Sunday 9am - 5pm Some Job Responsibilities: It is the responsibility of the Recreation Specialist/DSP to organize and plan recreational activities.

It is the responsibility of the Recreation Specialist/DSP to ensure that all individuals at their site receive support that is consistent with Support with Dignity and the Core Competencies.

It is the responsibility of the Rec/DSP to participate in trainings that will help them better understand and support those they work with.

Job Qualifications: High School Diploma/GED Complete and maintain AMAP and SCIP certification, as per the Center's policy.

Valid NYS Driver's License Required.

Must be able to sit, stand, lift 50 lbs.
