Sr Analyst - Business Analysis

The Sr.

Business Analyst is an accomplished team member with emphasis on determining the business requirements of systems and products.

The Sr.

BA easily translates industry and client/stakeholder needs into language that is understood by both the development team allowing for high efficiency system development.

The Sr.

BA must take pride in their work, seeking to produce high-quality deliverables.

Their communication skills will be critical for documenting requirements for system development, user stories, test cases and documentation.

The Sr.

BA seeks to become a subject matter exert in the areas assigned, and to do so must learn their assignments, asking questions, researching ambiguous items leading to full understanding of work areas/assignments

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Lead the design, analysis, interpretation, and evaluation of a variety of reports, internal/external resource documents, and surveys.

- Publish results for utilization by internal and external clients, as appropriate.

- Work with relational database management systems (MS SQL Server) and analytical processing systems.

- Ensure data accuracy and validate all data collection methods used in reporting projects.

- Evaluate data quality, applications and functions, produce output, maintain reporting operations, and documentation.

- Research new data sources and analytical tools.

- Contribute to new product development and improvement in product delivery and presentation.

- Develop and maintain effective processes for managing requirements, developing business processes, and providing production support to the operation.

- Communicate status, risks, and issues to senior management and/or the client as appropriate.
